Description
FreshSmart 1.5 HP Cold-Heat Air Conditioning
Temperature sensors measure the current room temperature and adjust the cooling or heating outputs accordingly.
This ensures that the room maintains a constant and comfortable temperature without overcooling or overheating.
Air Pollution Sensor. A sensor that monitors the presence of smoke, dust and other pollutants in the air that passes through the air conditioner. The use of such a sensor can be different.
Some models are able to independently start the ventilation (air purification) mode when pollution is detected, in others the sensor is only responsible for automatic shutdown, and ventilation must be turned on manually. However, in any case, this function greatly facilitates air quality monitoring.
Presence sensor. A sensor that monitors the presence of people in the room. Using data regarding the location of people in the room, the air conditioner can change the flow direction away from people, thereby protecting against drafts. If the presence of people is not detected, the air conditioner may switch to a consumption mode
Depending on the implementation of this function, it may turn off if there are no active people in the room for an extended period of time. This helps save energy and provides additional assurance in case the user forgets to turn off the air conditioner manually.
With full control over all features to ensure comfort.
Cooling and ventilation modes are present in every model. But humidified air conditioners are relatively rare. For them, the opposite format is mandatory - drying and heating.
Cooling. The room temperature lowering mode is the main function of any air conditioner. Note that conventional air conditioners also dehumidify the air when cooling, but due to the lower temperature, the relative humidity in this mode changes little (or not at all).
Ventilation. A mode in which the air conditioner only circulates air throughout the room without changing its temperature and humidity. This feature can be useful, for example, to mix the air and equalize the temperature; in addition, when passing through the air conditioner, the air is filtered.
This can be useful, for example, to remove dust and smoke, or to ensure cleanliness in a room where a sick person is present. We emphasize that ventilation must be distinguished from adding fresh air (see "Functions"): The ability to add air from the outside is very rare and only available on expensive air conditioner models.
A mode for removing excess moisture from the air. This function works by condensing water vapor on the air conditioner's cold heat exchanger; the collected moisture is usually removed from the outside through a drain pipe or collected in a special tank. Note that condensation also occurs in cooling mode (see above); dehumidification mode differs from it in that the temperature of the air passing through the air conditioner changes very little - usually no more than 1°C - but the humidity drops significantly.
Room temperature increase mode. It should be noted that most air conditioners with this function are not designed for use as full-fledged heating systems - their task is to "help" these systems, as well as heating in the off-season, when the main heating does not work. In addition, the temperature may be
The allowable outdoor temperatures (see "Minimum heating mode") are different: For example, not every unit with a heating mode is able to work in cold weather. On the other hand, there are exceptions - powerful cold-resistant models that have characteristics similar to heat pumps and can withstand temperatures down to -25°C and even lower.
