If the T4 temperature is less than or equal to -22°C, and the compressor continues to run for longer than TIMING_DEFROST_TIME, the defrosting process ends and the device switches to normal heating mode when any of the following conditions are met:
The unit operates for 10 minutes continuously in defrost mode.
The T3 temperature rises above 10 degrees Celsius.
Evaporator temperature protection:
Shutdown: The compressor stops working.
Reduce: Overclocking is minimized every 20 seconds.
Installed: Maintain the current frequency.
Resume: There is no limit to the frequency.
Automatic mode:
You can set this mode using the remote control, where you can change the temperature between 16 and 30 degrees Celsius. In Auto mode, the appliance determines whether to turn on cooling, heating, drying or fan mode, based on ambient temperature and humidity. If you adjust the temperature, the device will automatically choose a new function.
Drying mode:
In the drying mode, the air conditioner operates in a similar way to the automatic fan mode in the cooling mode. All protections are activated in the same way as in cooling mode. If the room temperature is below 10°C, the compressor will stop working until the temperature exceeds 12°C.
Forced operation function:
Forced cooling mode: The compressor and outdoor fan continue to run at a constant frequency, while the indoor fan runs at the set speed. After 30 minutes, the air conditioner switches to automatic mode with a preset temperature of 24°C.
Forced automatic mode: It operates in the same way as normal automatic mode with a preset temperature of 24°C. The unit exits forced mode when any of the following signals are received: Play, Off, Timer On, Timer Off, Sleep Mode, Follow Me, or any changes in mode, fan speed, or temperature setting.
Forced defrost mode: Press the AUTO/COOL button continuously for 5 seconds to enter this mode. The internal fan will stop, and the defrost light will come on. You can exit this mode and turn the unit off when: Exiting normal defrosting, turning off by remote control, or pressing the AUTO/COOL button continuously for 5 seconds again.
Timer function:
Works 24 hours a day.
Run the timer: The device automatically turns on when the set time is reached.
Turn off the timer: The device automatically stops when the set time is reached.
Start/stop the timer: The device starts automatically at the set on time, and stops automatically at the set off time.
Stop/start the timer: The device automatically stops at the set stop time and automatically turns on at the set start time.
The timer function does not affect the operating mode of the air conditioner. If the air conditioner is off, it will not start working after the “Stop Timer” function is set. When the “Off” time is reached, the timer LED lights up, and the air conditioner stops without any change.
The exact time is relative.
The air conditioner will stop the timer function in the event of a malfunction.
Sleep function:
The sleep function works in cooling, heating and auto modes. Here's how to turn it on:
In cooling mode, the temperature rises at a rate of 1°C every hour until it reaches a maximum of 30°C. After two hours, the temperature stops rising and the internal fan runs at a low speed.
In heating mode, the temperature drops at a rate of one degree Celsius every hour until it reaches a minimum of 16 degrees Celsius. After two hours, the temperature stops dropping and the internal fan runs at a low speed.
The cold wind resistance function is prioritized. The duration of the sleep mode is 8 hours, after which the unit exits the mode. A timer setting is also available in this mode.
“Follow Me” function:
When the “Follow Me” button on the remote control is pressed, the indoor unit beeps to indicate that the function has been activated. After activation, the controller sends a signal every 3 minutes without any beeping, and the device automatically adjusts the temperature based on the controller's measurements. The appliance will only change modes if the information from the controller requires it, not based on the appliance's own temperature settings. If the unit does not receive a signal for 7 minutes, or if you press the “Follow Me” button again, the function will stop, and the device will regulate the temperature according to its sensor and settings.
Automatic restart function:
The indoor unit has an automatic restart system, allowing it to come back on automatically. The unit retains the current settings, and in the event of a sudden power outage, it will automatically restore these settings within 3 minutes after the power is restored. If the power is interrupted while the unit is running, the compressor will start running 3 minutes after the unit is restarted. If the unit was off before the power outage, it will remain in standby mode.
Heating 8 degrees Celsius:
In heating mode, the temperature can be set to 8 degrees Celsius, preventing the interior space from freezing when no one is present during cold weather.
Silence:
Press “Silence” on the remote control to activate the silence function. While this function is activated, the indoor unit will operate with a gentle breeze (1% fan speed), minimizing noise.
ECO function:
Used to enter the energy saving mode. When the cooling mode is on, press the ECO button, and the remote control will automatically adjust the temperature to 24°C, with the fan speed set to Auto mode to save energy, but only if the set temperature is below 24°C. If the set temperature is between 24°C and 30°C, press the ECO button, and the fan speed will switch to auto mode, while the set temperature remains the same.
When the air conditioner receives signals such as Shutdown, Turbo Run, Silent Run, Autonomous Run, Forced Cooling Run, Mode Change, Sleep Mode, or temperature set below 24°C, it will exit ECO mode.
The operating time in ECO mode is 8 hours, after which the air conditioner will exit ECO mode. If any temperature sensor malfunctions, the air conditioner will also exit ECO mode.
When you enter ECO mode, the indoor fan will run on automatic mode. You can change the set temperature and fan speed using the remote control.
Power consumption control function:
Press the “Gear” button on the remote control to enter the energy saving mode in the following sequence: Turn off the unit or activate the ECO, Sleep, Super cool, Silence, or Self-cleaning function to end this function.
Breeze Away function:
This feature avoids direct airflow on the body, leaving you comfortably cooler. Note: This feature is available in cooling mode, fan-only mode, and drying mode.
Active cleaning function:
Active cleaning technology washes away dust, mold, and grease that can cause odors when they stick to the heat exchanger, by automatically freezing and then quickly defrosting. The internal wind wheel continues to work to dry the evaporator, preventing mold growth and keeping the interior clean. When this function is turned on, the indoor unit display window shows “CL”. After 20 to 45 minutes, the unit will automatically turn off and cancel the active cleaning function.
