FreshSmart 1.5 HP Cold-Heat Air Conditioning
FreshSmart air conditioners feature sensors that measure the room temperature, allowing them to automatically adjust the cooling or heating outputs. This ensures that a comfortable and constant temperature is maintained without being too cold or too hot.
They also have an air pollution sensor, which monitors the presence of smoke, dust, and other pollutants in the air. Some models are able to automatically turn on the ventilation (air purification) mode when pollution is detected, while others require the ventilation to be turned on manually. Either way, this feature contributes to better air quality.
The devices also include a presence sensor, which monitors the presence of people in the room. Based on the location of people, the air conditioner can direct the airflow away from them, protecting them from direct air currents. If no one is detected, the AC can switch to an energy-saving mode, which helps minimize energy consumption. It can also automatically turn off if there is no activity in the room for a long time, saving energy and ensuring that the user doesn't forget to turn it off.
These devices allow you to have full control over all features to ensure optimal comfort.
Cooling and ventilation modes are available on all models, but humidified air conditioning is rare. For these models, two basic modes are required: Drying and heating.
Cooling mode: The primary function of any air conditioner is to lower the temperature of a room. It should be noted that conventional air conditioners remove moisture from the air during cooling, but the relative humidity may not change significantly.
Ventilation mode: It circulates the air in the room without changing its temperature or humidity. This feature is useful for mixing the air and balancing the temperature, as well as filtering out dust and smoke, which is useful in rooms with sick people. Ventilation should be distinguished from adding fresh air, as the ability to add air from the outside is rare and only found in luxury models.
Dehumidification mode: It condenses water vapor on the cold heat exchanger, where the collected moisture is discharged through a pipe or collected in a special tank. In this mode, the air temperature changes slightly, usually no more than 1°C, while the humidity drops significantly.
Heating mode: It should be noted that most air conditioners with this function are not designed as full-fledged heating systems, but are intended to support other heating systems, especially in periods of transition between seasons. The allowable outdoor temperature may vary, as some units do not operate in cold weather. However, exceptions are robust cold-resistant models, which can operate at temperatures down to -25°C or lower.
